The letting of the office and commercial property SOuth HOrizon Munich - SOHO Munich for short - in Obersendling in the south of Munich continues to progress: in November 2023, the biotech start-ups tilibit nanosystems GmbH and Nanogami GmbH and the flex office provider 1000 Satellites moved into their space in SOHO.

Innovative biotech start-ups move into their lab space at SOHO

Two companies from the biotech sector have been added to the tenant mix at SOHO. The TUM spin-off aims to revolutionize nanotechnology through molecular information technology and uses biological molecules to produce tiny, nanometer-sized components for various industrial applications. tilibit is supported by Nanogami GmbH, which is pioneering the next generation of biochips for research, diagnostics and personalized medicine. In order to realize this vision, Nanogami GmbH is supported by the German Federal Agency for Leap Innovations. The company benefits from the combination of laboratory and office space (1,600 square meters) by moving into the space in South Horizon.

The SOHO can do biotech

Munich is a leading biotech location. Almost 250 life science companies are located in and around the state capital. And the industry is growing. Martinsried near Munich specializes in biotech companies with its Innovation and Start-up Center and the Martinsried-Großhadern campus. However, there is only limited space for new laboratory areas. With its location in Obersendling, SOHO benefits from its proximity to Martinsried and also has excellent connections to Munich city center.
